Vinnie Jones 'to discuss new romance' with Emma Ford in second series of In The Country
Vinnie Jones, the former footballer turned actor, is set to open up about his new relationship in the upcoming second series of his show, In The Country.
The Discovery+ show, which documents Vinnie's life in rural Sussex, is expected to begin filming next month despite not yet being officially greenlit.
The first season was a huge hit, as it showcased a different side of Vinnie, 59, who is known for his tough-guy image.
And now a TV insider has revealed that this time around, it will show even more of his softer side and highlight his new relationship with Emma Ford.
A source told The Sun: 'More of a surprise is the fact Vinnie and Emma’s relationship will be seen on screen for the first time. They actually fell in love during the creation of the first series, and eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted the signs that they were growing closer.'

A TV insider revealed that this time around the show will highlight Vinnie's loved up side with new partner, Emma Ford who he affectionately calls 'Blondie'
Vinnie was married to Tanya, his childhood sweetheart for 25 years before she passed away following a battle with cancer.
The source added: 'Vinnie is very conscious of the sensitivities surrounding his new relationship.
'The loss of beloved Tanya still feels raw to her friends and family. The last thing he would want to do is upset anyone, but he also wants to be honest and open.'
Emma - who Vinnie affectionately calls 'Blondie' - is a former PA to Mick Jones from The Clash and also worked as a showbiz reporter on Hollywood red carpets.
The couple were brought together by the pandemic and Vinnie's farm in West Sussex, where she has also became a star of the documentary series about his new rural life.
Vinnie, who returned to acting earlier this year as the star of Netflix's The Gentleman, has spoken out on how Emma 'calmed' him down after years of hard drinking and depression left him 'rotting inside'.
He has previously admitted that he will never get over the death of his wife of 25 years Tanya.
Since her death Vinnie - who is now 11 years sober - has been open about his grief and become a mental health advocate.

Speaking to the Mirror, Vinnie admitted he had in fact found love again with Emma.
He said: 'You know, after four months, four years, five years, 10 years, you just keep moving forwards, the grief is always going to be in there', the star of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels said.
The star added: 'It's how other things can control it. It's how much the flower can grow and and bloom. I think, for me, grief was always black and grey, but it doesn't have to be. It can be colours and happy memories'.
In 2022, he moved to a 2,000-acre countryside property with dilapidated agricultural buildings, which he transformed over a challenging summer, as shown in the 2023 series.
